Clinical Nurse I- Full-Time - Herman "Denny" Farrell, Jr. Health Center – Ambulatory Care Network/Columbia Campus

Family Medicine at The Herman "Denny" Farrell, Jr. Community Health Center was established as part of the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center's Ambulatory Care Network (ACN), to meet the underserved health needs of families in Washington Heights, Inwood, Harlem and Bronx communities.

Providing timely, compassionate care for more than 21,000 patient visits each year, our medical team emphasizes health promotion and prevention of disease and chronic illness, while developing responsive, long-term relationships with patients at every stage of life.

The "Denny" Farrell, Jr. Community Health Center provides comprehensive care for the entire family, including routine well-baby and well-child care, gynecology and obstetrics, musculoskeletal, podiatry and critical skin procedures to social work, special counseling and nutrition.

Our nurses join with resident physicians and faculty doctors in a team approach to providing continuous quality health care.

Use your teaching and triage skills to educate patients and their families to be in control of their health and well-being.

This is a full-time position with hours on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11a.m. – 7:30p.m.

Preferred Criteria

  • Two or more years of ambulatory care including primary care with pediatrics, OB/GYN and medicine
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish
  • Board certification in Ambulatory Care

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of one-year RN experience in acute care setting in Pediatric and OB/GYN
  • Current New York State RN license
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • BLS through the AHA

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range

$124,693-$136,018/Annual
